INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

THIN WALL MOUNTING KIT (#800-100) FOR SERIES 410

AND 420 HYDROGUARD MIXING VALVES

1. If possible, mount thin wall mounting bracket before wall is in place; proceed to Step 2. If wall is already in place, cut

rough-in hole using the dimensions in Figure 3 for Series 410 or Figure 4 for the Series 420 valves (see reverse side).

2. Place the thin wall mounting bracket over the bonnet of the valve as in Figure 1. When working with the Series 410 and 420

valves, make sure the words "FRONT TOP 410-420" are visible on the mounting bracket.

3. Rotate the bracket so that the words are right side up. The top hole should expose the stop adjustment screw (for the 410

valve only) and the two side holes of the bracket should expose the

mounting holes for the dial plate (see Figure 2).

4. Complete the installation of the valve trim. Follow the appropriate

installation instruction, which is packaged with the mixer:

410 Hydroguard – Form TI410

420 Hydroguard – Form TI420
